Not at all like the pictureThe color was completely off the tone was wrong. Pretty colorWhile it was a pretty color my hair has not been the same. While I regularly loose hair the amount of hair coming off my head in the shower was far grater than normal. Mixed emotionsPros: precise instructions, everything you need to color your hair; protect your hands and even wash color off your forehead are included, ability to have colorist tweak your formula based on your feed back Cons: despite tweaking my shade 3 times now, my roots still come out lighter (and I only color my roots)- only did the ends refresher the very first time I used esalon products when needed all over color I believe that I require a different developer, perhaps 15 in order for my roots to develop correctly and to my knowledge esalon has only one level of developer (20) 0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
