The worst haircolor ever!I used my color box last week. As soon as I opened the color, it smelled of unbearable ammonia. I still wanted to go ahead and try it. Heres what happened 1. I left the color on my hair for 30 mins and went for a wash 2. My hair felt extremely greasy and the grease wouldnt wash off 3. IT was so bad, that my hair remained in the shape that I make out if it!!! 4. It took me 3 showers washing my hair to make my hair look human enough! 5. The color ran over my face and when I was out of the shower, I was brown!!!!!!!! 6. I had to use the Stain remover provided to get my skin to the normal color 7. Wrong color twiceMy first order I told them I wanted my hair to be dark brown. (My hair is naturally dark brown and it was currently a medium brown with blond highlights) Used their mixture once it arrived...my hair was RED! Contacted them they sent me a new mixture...dyed my hair again about 12 weeks later...this item it was like a light brown/red color. NOT impressed with their ability to mix colors properly! This product damaged my hair! 😕😡This product dried out my hair, it was about 3 shades darker than promised as well. And when I put it on it was like a thick. Disgusting gelatin goo - three weeks later I’m still struggling to get my hair to feel like real hair again! It is total crap 💩 and false advertising! Do not buy this stuff if you like having hair! So Disappointed 😔I was so looking forward to this- customer service/stylist help seemed excellent prior to receiving my color. I have colored my own hair off and on for 15 years using inexpensive box dye from the store as well as alternating with extremely expensive professional color/highlights. This has by far been the worst experience with hair color I’ve ever had. I followed the directions step by step and did not skip any (and I’ve NEVER had issues with coloring my hair in the past. EVER.) The color is uneven despite being provided two bottles of color/developer and my hair is only shoulder length. There are spots of my roots that are a completely different bright color than the rest of my hair, and the main part of my hair that I was supposed to only leave the dye on for 5 minutes, despite making sure the hair was saturated - came out completely uneven. I spent over a half hour rinsing my hair having followed the directions to let it rinse until the water ran clear, then did the shampoo twice and conditioner. My hair feels like it’s coated in something awful. I rerinsed it again for another 10 minutes in my sink and it’s still coated.. Not what I expected.The color was completely wrong. I was credited another color plan and the color was adjusted but it’s still not right. I now have a purple hue in my hair and I am not liking it at all. I plan on canceling my plan all together. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Too dark!I was really expecting something less brown/dark and more red... Unexpectedly went darker. The product itself is great (thus the 3 stars) but really disappointed in how dark it is.
