Hair color recievedUnfortunately I am very dissatisfied with the color that was sent. The color that was sent is at least a few shades darker than my existing hair. I now have brown hair versus the blonde I desired. The highlights helped some. It this point i cannot recommend eSalon. Disappointing.I just received my second order, for $20 I got a small bottle for roots touch up instead of the full two bottles I would need to completely refresh the color for all my hair. I will have to use the ends touch up bottle I ordered separately, which is an extra cost, that should have gotten me to July, to get a full color done. I will be going to a salon supply store to match my color, and set up a subscription, which will be a fraction of the cost of Esalon. I understand you pay a little extra for the conveince of having everything you need to keep your color amazing delivered to your door, too bad you don't get all you need. Color is nothing like I described I wantedI noted several times I wanted a “yellow” blond. My first color was ashy. My second was a light dirty blond. I just colored my hair 3 days ago and it’s platinum blond, almost white. Didn’t listenThere was a promotion for $10 so I tried it. I submitted pictures of my hair as requested. The coverage was good but I didn’t like the color. It was a little darker than I wanted and a little brassy. I messaged them to let them know and I included pics of the color. They responded that they would send me a complimentary new color because they wanted me to like my hair color which I appreciated. Just received the color in the mail and it’s the exact same one as before so I decided to cancel my subscription. Update: After submitting my review they refunded all my money which was nice. Did not cover the grayUsed exactly as directed and was very disappointed that it did not cover the gray that all other boxed sets do. The color was okay, nothing to rave about. Not RecommendedAs a natural redheaded, I just wanted the same color just more vibrant. I asked for a Copper blonde and they made me a RED AUBURN. Brown with red. It was all one color. I would have been fine with Orange. Copper isn't red or brown. It's orange and blonde. Also to note that the color DIDN'T cover my ultra blonde (Grey hairs). So it was Red Brown with white blonde hairs. Looks Horrible. The color was terrible and even after the past 2 weeks. The RED BROWN hasn't changed at all. I'm extremely disappointed.
