Never again!Cancelling this service!!! First I want to say that I have been coloring my hair for close to 15 years both at a salon by a professional and at home myself. I used the bottle method as I have long hair and that is what I am used to when doing it myself. But here are my issues: -I got two bottles in my kit and while it was clear that they were different color formulas, the only instructions for using the second bottle was to use it if I used all of the first bottle. VERY confused as to why they were different colors then. -The smell/fumes of this product were so overwhelming, I was choking and dry heaving from them. -My hair was super matted from the product when I was trying to rinse it out and pulled a lot of hair out just trying to get my hands unstuck from the mess. -My hair has NEVER felt this damaged! I swam competitively for 13+ years and NEVER has my my hair felt this dried out and straw like. I am guessing I will be spending a lot of time over the next few days with deep conditioning treatments/masks on my head. If I didn't have some free samples of leave in conditioner from Birch Box stashed away, I would not have been able to comb my hair this morning and even then it took me about 10 minutes to comb through it this morning. I will say that my coloring kit came very attractively packaged and the videos were very friendly and make it all seem very easy to do so kudos to your marketing team for that. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. First time Hair ColorColored my daughters hair for first time, followed instructions and we could not tell a difference in her hair when done. There was absolutely no difference in color. I supplied a picture when ordering color and described what we were looking for in regards to color. I would love to rate but cant!I took the instructions with me to read at the hospital. I totally lost them, so my first big beautiful box is just sitting here along with some others sent after. Poor Grey CoverageUnfortunately, the change of colour to a Medium Ash brown with Highlights in a Balayage style appears not to suit my hair as my grey's come through after the first wash which is not acceptable for a permanent colour. Nice product but doesn't cover grayThe only reason I ordered was to cover my ever increasing gray hair. The instructions were easy to follow and I was able to get the color even throughout EXCEPT for my gray hairs. Also, it ended up with much more red than there has been in other applications. I don't think I'll be using this again because I don't mind my natural color. I just want the gray gone. If you're using this just for regular hair color, I highly recommend it.
