Not black or blueI had high hopes for this after my roommate suggested it….but this didn’t color my dark brown hair black or blue despite the vibrancy I saw while coloring it. The only reason this got 2 stars instead of 1 is because it did cover some of my grays. Not sure if I should adjust the color again or just call it quits and get a refund. Not worth the hassle or the priceI've used this color several times now and I've arrived at the conclusion that it's no better than a regular, drugstore box color. It actually leaves my hair feeling more damaged than the $12 John Frieda color. The only difference is the eSalon color is much more complicated to use and the process is a much bigger mess. Plus, have mercy does it stink!!! Lastly, it's no more durable than the cheaper at-home colors. I start noticing grays reappearing in as little as two weeks.
