Wrong colorIt could be a miscommunication but I gave a clear picture of the color I was wanting which was light pinkish brown. I had dark blond hair and the result came to a complete black, and don't know why this happened. She told to wait 2-3 weeks to apply another color. Great packaging...crappy product. The packaging is fantastic but when it comes to hair care it's what's inside that counts. The dye, shampoo, and conditioner all suck. After the first time using it a ton of my hair fell out. I chalked it up to diet changes at the time but the dye I'm sure didn't help. It was impossible to wash out and left my hair feeling gross and dry. I've given feedback and kept my subscription going hoping for improvement but nothing ever changed. Gorgeous presentation, BUT the smell! :(It all came in such a beautifully and personally prepared and perfect package. Absolutely blown away by the whole process; the order, the personal colourist, the precise and very carefully color mixture, the charts, direction, etc....but when I opened the bottles and started to make the mix, the smell was beyond anything I had ever encountered. The ammonia, yikes. Not good, not healthy. When I wrote the E alone Care Team Member was kind enough to quickly respond with: "The odor is caused by an ingredient in your permanent color called ammonium hydroxide, which is a solution of ammonia in water. It allows your hair follicles to totally absorb the dye, so you can fully penetrate your hair with color and get total coverage that’s long lasting. While it has a strong smell, we believe it is a safer and a much more effective choice than other color substitutes out there used by other color companies. When I color my hair, I like to apply it in a well-ventilated room with windows or doors open to ventilate the area. I find it really helps with the strong smell." This was information from the e salon help line. I could feel and taste the smell on my tongue, it was so extreme. I am so bummed out for this. Color to darkThe color did not work for me. It was to dark. Then I got a perm and that destroyed my hair and pulled all the dark color out . That was a good thing. I would like to get the color I am left with. I will try to send a picture . Please do not send me any automatic refills on anything . I don't need them.
