Not satisfiedThe top of my hair is very yellow on top. When I first color it looks good after 4 weeks it starts turning gray and yellow on top at the roots by week 5 it’s all yellow and gray mix. Not better than box dyeI sent in a photo so the colorist could see what my hair looked like. Clearly due to quantitative, there was alot of grey. I requested a all over color, dark brown, no black. What I got was patchy coverage of the grey in the back and sides of my head, and 1 side of grey coverage above my forehead. I am left with random light brown patches where color didnt work, the grey wasnt covered and black hair from my neck down and dark brown color on my head. I have used box dye in the past and it has never left patches and inconsistent color coverage. So I assumed eSalons product would be of superior quality and wouldn't have any issues. At the worst, I thought I wouldn't like the color. Never did I expect the mess I got. Now I have to spend more money for a color correction to fix this. It started pinkish light brown ...So it's turn it out pretty good initially, as I was going for a pinkish light brown/dark blond... But now it's turned into this very copper-ish darker brown that I don't like. This color changed too much, despite me purchasing their shampoo/rinse & tint to use in between washes. And unfortunately they shipped yesterday the same color... I think I just wanna go back to my own color which was a Light ash Brown. Ups and downsPackaged really well and arrived quickly, lovely touches having my name on the bottles extra. A little disappointed with the colour I’m definitely a mid to dark brunette instead of dark blonde. Very chocolatey which is really not what I wanted. I wanted to cover brassy tones in my blonde hair by going a little darker and now I’m not even close to blonde. I had a very very brief phone call on an American number from which I was disconnected twice and simply told I wasn’t going to be the colour I’d chosen but I’d still be blonde. All in all a really great product and service but clarity on the colour needs to be more of a focus as in my case I’ve now essentially ruined four years of salon treatments going blonde. Still left with dark roots - waste of timeI purchased a permanent dye plus an ends refresh. The ends worked well - colours good, vibrant, but I think that the eSalon colour is trading off the good work of my normal salon. The roots which are around 10/15cm were a failure - there’s no visible change to my hair unless you shine a bright light on my head. In daylight there is still an obvious place where my roots end and my original colour began. When I placed my order, I provided photos of my hair colour taken by my stylist several months ago as a guide, so I don’t understand the failure. I’ve messaged my colourist and sent photos to show why I’m disappointed, but I’ve not had any response.
