Expected more noticeable changeThis was the first time I colored my hair myself. I've gotten my hair colored before at a salon so I knew basically what I wanted to do but I was still nervous! The directions were easy to follow and videos were helpful. However, I wasn't very excited about the end results. I didn't notice much of a change in my hair color. Natural hair color is light to medium brown and the color I ordered was medium brown (intense pearl). I was expecting more of the violet color to come through, which I didn't see and even overall the brown didn't seem to get any darker. I know it's hard to see from the small color swatch they put online, but it really felt like my natural color was just matched, and I notice some color change if I was outside in the sun. Perhaps part user error, but I felt like I explained what results I was hoping for, and even sent in photos of my natural color. I like the fact that there is a real person creating a custom color for me, but I was disappointed with the end results. The final color was fine, it just wasn't really what I wanted, I was looking for more of a change. DisappointingThis was my second time using eSalon. The first time everything was perfect. This time....not so much. I placed the order on a Thursday and for a week the message on the site stated "your stylist is working on your color". After a week I received the "your order has shipped" however when I checked the tracking info it just stated that the package was on the way to a shipping facility. I recognize that shipping is delayed currently due to the virus and this may not have totally been your delay. When the package arrived I opened it to find that it was missing the shampoo, conditioner, and - most importantly- the brush. Not a good color matchI intentionally gave you the brand name and number of the product I was using that was the color I like on my hair. What you send me was lacking in the red coloring of the Auburn. So the color you sent is really more brown than Auburn on my hair. My hair is more dry since I use this product. Rather disappointed. Ginger orange 😞Unfortunately my hair came out gingery orange, I was very disappointed and upset that I put a box set over it darker which I don’t line but it was soo finery orange, I have enclosed a photo to show you in my account, it ended up far worse than it was. The Worst Hair Color EverI sent in my photo with my dark brown hair and said I would like to go slightly lightly..... I received my kit, followed the directions exactly and my hair came out BLACK.... the BLACKEST BLACK you have ever seen. Not impressed. My hair feels and looks very damaged. Coverage of grey/white hair Failed to cover rootsFollowed directions very closely. Once hair was thoroughly covered with product left on for 30 minutes. Applied remainder of color with water and massaged into hair before showering. Perhaps it doesn't work on short coarse hair. Or it needs to be on longer than 30 minutes. Unhappy with color and customer service!I was so excited to finally color my hair after going gray, post-chemo. The color was too light and my roots around my face still looked gray. I emailed immediately to ask how soon I could re-dye or touch up my hair. That was almost three weeks ago, and I still haven't gotten a response. I went into my account to cancel my next order and was offered free color for the next time. I was told I would be contacted by, "my colorist" to discuss the color.
