Brown roots!The two step process is a problem when the root application is not the right color. My overall hair color is a vibrant copper red, but roots were a lifeless brown with no hint of red. disappointedI responded to an email asking about my color (second order) before it was created asking my input. I asked for 2 colors, one being slightly darker for the back/bottom and one to be exactly the same as my previous lighter color. I received an email back stating they had received my request. When I received my color (almost 2.5 weeks late-greys were unbearable) there was only one color which was neither the darker or the previous color I had requested. Color was sent for wrong partMy color was great but it was sent for my roots, and I am actually trying to match the bottom of my hair (bottom 7/8) to my roots, so it wasn't quite enough color. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

disappointedI have colored my hair twice, used product 2 months, followed the directions. The color was not covering and what little did, didn't last long. Why does eSalon want me to be a redhead when I really, really don't want to be??My primary goal has been to tone down the red tone. I requested ashy. The eSalon color still is way too red. My roots, which are naturally about 70% cool brown and 30% gray, keep coming out a deep bronze. NOT thrilled. The developer shifted down from a 20V to a 15V (thank you). But this time it seemed to smell so strong that my eyes watered the entire time and I could barely see where I was applying the color. Could we try going down to a 10V developer, or something still milder? Thanks for listening.
