Wrong color againMy hair feels healthy and has shine! But once again they got the color wrong. I wanted medium brown, specified not golden and went from a natural, ashy light brown to COPPPER!!!! They sent another set in an effort to correct it. Started off great! Still had red tones but definitely more brown. It's been a few weeks now and I'm slowly going back to this awful copper they turned it. Super disappointed in that and that the color fades so quickly. Definitely do not recommend for gray hairs. I only have 5 or so you can see, but they didn't turn. Only reason it gets 2 stars is because it didn't damage my hair. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Doesn’t cover grays wellI paid special attention to the grays that frame my face. After coloring I still had grays popping through. After a couple washings, more gray was visible. I’ve had better luck with $3 box at drugstore. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Color barely changedI have the darkest brown hair and wanted to make my hair color lighter to the medium brown. Unfortunately, after the following the instructions exactly as is, my hair color barely changed. It is only very slightly lighter than my original color and you can only see it in the light. People don't even know I dyed my hair. I am quite disappointed with the color result. boxed dye redI am canceling my subscription. I was very worried about dying my own hair so I made sure to follow the instructions TO THE LETTER. I ended up with nothing better than boxed dye red hair. Everytime the light hit my hair I had deep red roots just like I was back dying my hair in high school from drug store boxed dyes. New Manufacturer of E-salon color is Horrible!.Unfortunately the new manufacturing process of Esalon color is no longer the same, my October 2020 order for Demi-Permanent color was not the same color, nor smell (much stronger chemical), texture very different (thicker so thick it barely covered my roots for touch up correctly on my longer hair), product changed my color and it had more chemicals in it which does not do well on fine hair and it dried my hair follicle so bad it was frizzy/nappy. My mom is a retired cosmetologist and still knows about the beauty industry and she noticed it right away when she was applying to my hair. It was so dry n frizzy we did a deep moisturizing treatment 3 days after color to calm the hair follicle. I don't know why they decided to change manufacture but its horrible and the company needs to go back to the orginal manufacturer because this is a wonderful company n concept!
