poor coverageAt first I thought it looked pretty ok but within a few washings the color faded, gray around my face was obvious and dark roots. No grey coverageWas so excited to try this product based on friends' recommendations and reviews. I've not colored my hair in nearly a year. (I'm sure I'm not the only one...) Sadly this didn't give me any coverage for the grey at my hairline at all. Colored the few greys that I have scattered but not the ones in front that most desperately need coverage. Followed instructions with sectioning/bowl/brush and even added extra color using gloved fingertips before processing. Great shine and smooth texture but I need color coverage, not deep conditioning. Turned into red :(Before coloring the hair, my natural color was light brown. I had a couple of light blond highlights. The idea was to color my hair to dark blond, or light brown and I was clear I don’t like red (brassy tones). And that’s exactly how it turned out. Brown/red. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. My hair is RED almost ORANGE and I was going for dark blonde!!!!when I filled out the hair color choice I specified I did not want anything at all red. I finally got my courage up to try the product and now my hair red, almost orange, nothing close to the dark blonde I had requested. I look like a freggin' clown! Didn't cover my greysHorrible experience 😪 So glad my stylist applied it and was back in the salon so she could fix it although there was no time to cut my hair and had to drive home and wash the secound applied color out myself. Was so disappointed it was my first trip to the salon in a yr due to covid and was a birthday gift. I felt so bad taking up so much of her time I still paid for making her clients wait. I was going to apply it myself as I have done many times. Not right for me.Not saying that it was all ESalon's error but the hair dye I thought I was getting was a lot lighter than my own color and a lot of ash in the blend.
