Love the color, not the priceI love the color chosen for me. However for the price I would think it would work as good as the brands you can get in the store but I have not seen that. I have colored my hair three times and last two times there is a spot that didn't get colored though I know it was saturated with color. Did not work for me!!Let me start by saying loved the packaging and how quickly it arrived. Also loved the stain guard in the kit and the fact it comes with everything you need. However the golden black does not cover the grays just makes them an awful orangy brassy color. Would not recommend for anyone who has black hair and grays. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Not so much GRAY coverage!Overall easy process but leaves very severe stains like no other. Opened bottle to mix the color in but seal went flying and some of developer ran out.Never had that happened.Not a biggie but still.After keeping on for 45 mins even per instructions to leave on for 20 min the grays were not covered well. I do thank the colorist for the mix but something was not delivering to satisfaction. For all those reasons I gave 3⭐️ Happy for the ladies that colors work for.( Maybe not meant for all hair types, maybe works better for lighter hair colors!)🤷🏻♀️ 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. OkayColour is nice especially in natural sun light, however only really showed up on parts of hair that was already lighter from previous dye (different brand) Doesn't really show on new growth. So not sure if it would work if my hair wasn’t already dyed. My hair can be quite stubborn to take to dyes though because it’s dark brown and thick. Wrong color - againThis is my 3rd box where my roots are very red/brown instead of soft black. There was a time when esalon got it right each time but even with the last correction, my roots aren’t soft black like the rest of my hair. :( 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Grays not coveredI followed the instruction and was disappointed as the grays were not covered. I have forever colored my hair at home and tried various over the counter hair color product. Still not sticking.I’ve followed instructions to the letter all 3 times and my hair is still grey. The product is just not working for me.
