Not at all the colour i asked forLuckily i did a strand test before applying this colour all over! I mixed up the contents as directed and it looked very red...not at all like the colour i asked for. So decided to do a strand test....well im glad i did. My hair strand went BRIGHT RED!! If i had applied this all over and ended up with bright red hair i would have been fuming! Wrong redI wanted to like this but no. First, the color was too runny after mixing. It was dripping down my neck. Second, I told the colorist to stay away from the bluish dark red. Unfortunately, that’s what I got. It’s way too dark and no bright red like I asked for. Third, the entire step where you have to mix the remainder of color with water and dump on your head then massage in…that was an entire waste of time and ended up being one big mess. Nothing like the pic I sent and did not cover grayThe color I get from my salon is a bright, vibrant, red/orange. The color I was sent looks like my salon color after 5 weeks in between visits. It's a dull brown copper. It also didn't cover the grey, even though I left it on for 30 minutes. Now I need to go to the beauty supply and try to find another color to fix this and brighten it up. DisappointedThe color was gorgeous until I washed my hair. It did not cover my grays or adequately color my ends which are lighter than the color by my scalp. I did state that I had grays and also that my ends were lighter when I put in for the color to be created. I just need something more vibrant and long lasting. Colour came out Black not brown or copper or red.I've been with esalon for a while now and never had any previous issues with the hair dyes I have had so this is a first. I opted for a colour change dark brown copper red which was agreed with the colourist. Put this onto my hair within 2 washes the red faded and left a cool dark black overall colour on my hair (not happy to say the least) Black hair does not suit me or my skin tone. Sent an email via customer services, no response, rang the customer services explained the situation and how unhappy I am, the person who I spoke to was rude, no customer services manners/skills at all (work on that) I was then offered a free colour which I declined no red colour is going to sit ontop of black hair so your alternative was not accepted, I asked for a refund which I was granted, however due to your mistake and how unhappy as a consumer I am you should of as well offered me a gesture of goodwill, which you did not do. Poor customer services. Unhappy customer due to the colour not being correct I can even upload you a photo of the black hair if you like to show you this hair dye is not the colour its suppose to be (black) which I did not order black. And long time to deal with my enquiry had I not chased it up myself.
