High hopesCovers greys well but the colour faded quickly and was much darker than requested. It is difficult to maintain copper, but I expected a better lasting colour. I sent a request to change my colour as it was more red/brown than copper on my hair colour (even though I had sent photos of my hair colour prior); however, my account does not show any adjustments have been made to my colour and the next batch is on its way. 0 of 1 people found this review helpful. Fiery dark red resultI normally use ammonia free hair dye like Herbatint or Naturlique. I decided to try esalon as colours look vibrant. The dye smells like ammonia-containing, damaged my hair and turned red, needed to colour with a different brand to be able to go out. 0 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Doesn't workI purchased this off Instagram, I should have known better, but thought I would give it a try. I followed the directions, applied to my roots, and even though it went on very dark and I was worried, it did absolutely nothing to my hair. Waste of timeFirst box I had the colour came out way too dark. That was May this year. Ok, no biggie I thought. They have free colour adjustment. So that's what I did, I asked for more copper, lighter shade. Less brown, earthy, more vibrant. Simple enough, right? Except I waited 5, YES FIVE, months for that "colour correction" set. I just did it today. Nothing's changed. They literally sent me the same stuff as before. I haven't coloured my hair in between, to be able to certainly get the colour I wanted. Yup, not going to happen apparently. I'm going to box colour. Smells more of ammonia, but at least I don't have to wait 5 months and come out with a wrong colour. Gingers beware!
