No drynessI like the eSalon color system. I noticed that my scalp wasn't dry and flaky after using eSalon color. Other color kits have made my scalp really dry but I've not experienced the same with eSalon. However, it seem like my grey roots started showing after about 2 weeks following my color. Good colorI really like my color and gave it 4 stars. The only hiccup I had is in my side burn area of my hair line. The color seemed not to last through a couple of washes and the gray began to show. I only colored roots so had really applied a lot to all root areas. Need practice and adjustmentsI’m happy with this product. I wish it smelled better. I believe some of what I’m not happy with was user error. I’ve never dealt with 2 different colors at the same time before. Could not figure out how to pin up the hair I colored first on my roots without getting that color on my ends. In all now that it’s finished and dry it might have been a better overall color had I not worried about that so much. Changed my mindAt the very 1st I didn't like the product. In the shower and the first 2 days my hair seemed drier then normal. But now that a couple of days have gone by my hair actually looks and feels better then it has in a long time. The color is a little more red then I care for but other then that I just love it. It has depth and covers the gray so much better then the box kind. It looks a lot more natural then it has in a long time.
