Awful allergic reactionI bought a soft black color and I really like the color. My hair is shiny and bright, I know how can black be bright, but I am use to my color usually coming out dull. I have been coloring my hair for years and this is the first time that I actually love how it looks. The problem I have is that I had a really bad allergic reaction to the chemicals. For four days my head has been on fire. Yes I should have done the allergy test but I thought, why should I because I have been coloring my hair for years. Dissatisfied with gray coverageIn selecting my color, I was asked what my desired result was. I stated that I had very prominent gray at my temples, and forehead. I'm left with red hairI tried esalon after seeing the many adds online because I had stared getting some unwanted gray hairs. Not a lot of grays, but enough that I wanted some coverage. I wasn't looking to change my hair color, but would have been ok with one or two shades difference. My first order lifted my hair to orange from light brown. Courtney called me and sent a follow up order to try and darken my hair to brown. Instead I got copper and even after a second follow up, I'm still copper at the roots and dark brown on the length. Even using tinted love in the red neutralizer, I'm still left with red hair. I hate this color I seem to be stuck with and don't recognize myself when I look in the mirror. I wish I had never colored my hair, instead of being left with copper roots and much darker hair. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Bad decision on hair productI have not used my last shipment. I made a bad decision and bought the new Swarovski brand using their lightest color (caramel blonde) and it turned my hair a dark orange color. I am afraid to use another hair color on top of it right now. I've liked dealing with your company. Beware!!Did everything my order said! Then put on my hair left in for 25 min. Rinsed and rinsed and rinsed and could not get this weird build up of who knows what out! Finally shampooed with provided shampoo and it would not wash out ! I had to shampoo again and again with my shampoo finally it washed out! Conditioned and rinsed ! My hair was actually falling out I was afraid to brush it! Now it's 1day later and I will have to wash again my head feels burned or tingling! Maybe stuck in scalp deep not sure! Color not rightThis was my first attempt at esalon and I did love how healthy my hair felt after coloring. I uploaded current pictures and was very detailed in what I had been currently using, as well as the results I had hoped to achieve, which was a more vibrant strawberry copper color. This first attempt left my hair a flat light/medium brown with very little vibrancy. I followed the instructions in the box and timed it exactly as stated for root application and the rest of my hair. I was able to bring some life back into my hair with the Tinted Love product, which I love. The next batch has since been adjusted, I uploaded my unhappy result pictures as well as an additional picture of the result I hope to achieve from an example on the esalon instagram. I ordered the same hair color as last time and this was not it!I'm not sure what happened here but the reason that I absolutely LOVED the first order I received from eSalon was that it had a separate dye application for the roots and the rest of my hair which made it incredibly consistent in color as well as shiny. The best dye job I've had non-professionally and better than many I received in salons. When I re-signed up for this delivery, I assumed that I would receive the same product but no, I got one bottle of dye for both roots and the rest and it did not work the way that I wanted it to. I'm hoping that for my next delivery this issue will be rectified but I don't know how to customize such an order. I thought the whole point of this was customized color so I don't understand why things were changed on me on my second order when I didn't ask for it... 24 of 24 people found this review helpful. Could not rinse outBeen using several months but I'm unable to rinse the waxy mess out of my hair and scalp even after 2 washings with my own shampoo. Followed the instructions exactly every time.
