Update on my last color treatmentAs I wrote previously, I colored my hair, it still pulled red, yet I was going to give it another try. First off let me say that my hair growth is slow, in the norm I have very little new growth after 6 to 8 weeks, my grays start to appear around the six week mark. Having said this, with my first order I colored my hair and by the time I received my second order my grays were just starting to show, that was fine. This last order, I colored my hair shortly after having received my package (approx 10 days), I followed instructions as indicated (only the roots), I did not follow with the balayage because I wanted to wait and see how the color would come out. I try and wash my hair twice a week, and I noticed every time I color my hair, after I wash my hair the color changes, the color kind of settles, which I don't mind cause if the color came out well, after the first shampoo it comes through beautifully. As I said, I colored my hair (roots), as instructed, washed my hair, color was okay, still pulled red, even more so this time than the last (not happy), but I said to myself it is what it is.... Three weeks went by and lo and behold my roots started to show... and no, I still haven't done the Balayage Light Treatment... If I was disappointed last time with my color pulling red, this time around I'm extremely disappointed and unimpressed. It's like I was given a weaker formula??? With my hair growth being so slow, how in the world is it possible that after three weeks my grays/roots are showing? Kind of DisappointedI was so excited to receive my eSalon package. I chose a color out of my comfort zone and decided on a pearl purple dark brown. The photo online showed a hint of purple and I was ready for a change. The packaging is very cute and the directions are super easy to follow. The company really thought of everything. The product left my hair very shiny and smooth. However, there is ZERO purple in my hair. It just looks like plain dark brown (blackest brown). I followed the directions exactly as they were written. Brassy GoldMy color was very brassy, even after a few modifications. I really wanted to love the color. The packaging was great, the instructions were easy. The color didn't damage my hair at all. Color was too golden and I ordered an ash tone....Hi, Your light ash blonde was too golden in tone....I usually buy L'oreal Excellence---and thought I'd try yours since L'oreal seems to fade faster and faster....L'oreal's' and Clairol's light ash blonde level 9 colors impart a more ash tone than e-salons did. However, the E-salon was gentler to skin and hair---Clairol burns my neck and L'oreal doesn't cover gray as well. In addition, I like your liquid color in a bottle rather than having to squeeze color out of those tubes and all the accessories are nice , but I want great multi-dimensional color color that's long-lasting...we'll see how well yours measures up.... 0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
