Great Colour, Shine and softnessMy hair has not shined like this in a long time. Its soft and feels fuller too. It was very creamy and felt oily but without the greasiness. Excellent!I love the color and the videos made the application process easy. I feel like all of my hair is colored well and evenly. At the end of the process I dumped dye and water over my head, and the dye dripped down my body and splashed on the floor, and I felt like a vampire princess bathing in blood.* It was empowering. My only complaint is that 4 out of 8 of the containers sent to me were difficult to open, at least in a wearing slippery gloves scenario. QUALITY HAIR SALON PRODUCTSince I started working for a natural based hair care company and using their products my hair got so much fuller, healthier and is growing crazy! With that my roots and gray strands are showing faster too - unfortunately! I was looking to find an alternative to costly hair dresser appointments (although I love their work!) and found an article on Facebook, raving about this company that offers custom hair color in salon quality for a fraction of the price. I never colored my hair myself, but the $12 first-time offer was quite compelling to give it a try. So I went forward, ordered my custom color set with the request to get as close to my natural hair color and the wish to cover the gray strands. It took few weeks till my color kit arrived here in rural Manitoba, Canada. It was beautiful put together, the instructions well made and easy to follow. I also watched few how-to-do videos on Esalon's website just to make sure I got everything right. With hubby's help I applied the color, waited 30 min,. showered and blow dried my hair - quite nervously though. But when I looked in the mirror I was blown away! It turned out amazing! The color, maybe a tad darker than expected but still very nice, was perfect! It covered my gray/roots so nicely and I'm more than pleased with the result! Colors grey better than any other DIY hair colorI love the color and it actually sticks to grey hair. Boxed dye often fades and lets my grey hair show through within days. I have even had this problem when I've had my hair professionally colored. This color sticks to the grey and does not fade. It is easy to apply and looks fantastic and natural once done. I have also noticed less damage to my hair using this dye compared to other dyes. My only complaint is that the dye is more difficult to wash out than other hair color when it comes time to rinse. PROFESSIONAL STRENGTH COLORINGBeen using for five years now and will NEVER switch!!! First hair color to REALLY cover my gray roots to match my hair! Then salon products customized to keep my color going! Red/copper is the hardest of ALL colors to maintain!
