I don't like surprisesI did the box-color thing for years. Just about the time I found a color that worked for me, it would be discontinued. Even if I bought the same color and same brand, there were times when the color looked lighter/darker/more red/blonder/ than the last box. As far as longevity, it was anyone's guess how long the color lasted. The first coloring made me an eSalon believer. I'm a nobody, but my hair has a color formula specifically for me. How cool is that! There are NO surprises- EVER. I can have as many formulas as I want. I have one formula for fall/winter, and a different formula for Spring/Summer. I set up a Pay-Pal account ONLY for eSalon and it comes right to my mailbox. Everything is automatic unless I change it.
