I think I may be allergic or this dye is way too strong for my scalp and hairI do not plan to use this product again. I did notify esalon before my last purchase that I noticed a scalp problem and a really drying damage to my hair. The next order seem not to dry my hair that much but my scalp developed bumps and an itchness which indicates a severe irritant. The color does last a long time but I cant stand what it does to my scalp or hair and these are not just effects that last a few day but several months. I spoke with my doctor who says that it must be very strong to do that as compared to other brands who have not irritated my scalp. So with this I will not be ordering again. DON'T DO IT!!!!!My 'Golden Brown' became a dark muddy disaster. I followed the directions faithfully, but now I've had to cut off four (4!) inches and am waiting for some recovery before I can have this nightmare taken care. I'm ashamed to be seen in public! Did my color change?This last batch looks different from the previous batches. All I needed to do was a root touch up and noticed the color is different than the previous batches I have received. I really like the previous batches because it showed less red. Now, the redness is back. It was noticeable when I blow dried my hair. The red was very noticeable. The color has a purple overtoneHello After speaking with your representative I thought she understood what I wanted the color I ordered was dark Auburn and what I got was a brown/black with purple overtones. From what I can remember none of the photos sent show me with brown/black hair. This is my natural color but not what I wanted, it should have been Dark Auburn with reddish overtones. To me this is what it is and in speaking with your rep I thought I conveyed this. I've suspended till May with a possibility of cancellation. Oddly enough the store bought kinds have always given me the right color but don't stay as long. I was given a good recommendation from Terlyn Nowell love her color. What happened to mine?
