Custom Hair ColorHmm... I wanted to try this as it is advertised to be so much better than box and more affordable than a salon. My personal experience is it did not do any better than box color for gray coverage and my hair didn't feel any better than when colored with my normal box color. custom hair colorit is nice to get a hair color made just for you. you do not get that from a box. i liked it and it was as easy to use as if it came from a box. color seems to last longer than store bought. but i am waiting to see, i will be recieving my 2nd order in april. i will revise my rating then. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Low qualityI was excited to try esalon last summer and the first batch that came seemed great! The two bottles they sent me had the darker base and a lighter color for the ends. My shipments after that had only the darker color and they told me I had to pay extra for the lighter touches...hmmm. After a few applications of the color, my hair is dry and brittle. I'm constantly trying to moisturize it to bring back life and softness. The shampoo and conditioner that I bought with my first purchase did nothing to improve the appearance or feel of my hair, either. The color was pretty good, I must say, but I think I could get that color in any box. The absolute worst part, though, was that when I used the color the last time, a clump of hair fell out while I was shampooing the product out. I wonder now it this product is the reason my brush seems to have had a lot more hair in it the last 6 months. I'm done. It's just way too damaging on my hair. I don't think it works for me...Reason being it might work for others, I was my hair every week and already my gray hairs are appearing back around my crown, they are coming back fast and furious. ....
