Does not last very longI love the color but it starts to fade after a week (and yes, I use a sulfate free shampoo). I don't understand why over the counter colors last for over a month but eSalon only lasts for about a week. No gloves in boxI was disappointed to find when I went to take everything out to start my process this time that the gloves were missing from my box this time, i actually went back through twice to make sure i did not miss something. Our gel color is crafted from highly pigmented professional-grade dyes, which can feel heavy if not totally washed out per your Personalized Instructions and sometimes requires a little bit more shampooing than other color. To thoroughly remove the color in the future, we recommend that you bring any leftover hair color in your bottle or bowl, fill it with water and mix it together. Then, after tilting your head back, pour this mixture onto any areas you applied color and deeply massage it for 2-3 minutes prior to rinsing. This will seriously help to loosen any residual color and prevent staining on your scalp. If you still have this feeling, we then suggest using a color-care clarifying shampoo to remove any of the remaining residue from your hair, leaving it feeling fresh and squeaky clean. SadI had been waiting and waiting to dye my hair because it never turns out right. Thought this would be a good way to get a good color. WRONG! My natural color is a boring light brown. I had lighter blondish/red tones towards my ends from a yr old dye job. I was really just wanting to get back to my natural color. I ended up super dark with a greenish grey tint. It looks nothing at all like the color description. It is so shockingly dark that it looks like I'm wearing a wig. I HATE MY HAIR-IT'S A DISASTER!Going on vacation and now only have 1 day to fix and don't even begin to know how. THIS COLOR IS WAAAYYY TO DARK, IT CAME OUT ALMOST BLACK, NOT BEAUTIFUL SHADES OF BROWN W/RED TONES AS I SELECTED. If you, or anyone out there can help, please advise ASAP. I will try this 1 more time due to their guarantee, but never again after if same, or similar thing happens. Like washing playdoh out of my hair.This was a horrible experience. Why do i need a separate bottle for roots and ends? Why do I need to bring the remaining color in the shower with me and add it to my already saturated hair? And WHY did the dye turn my hair into a sticky, gummy terrible mess when it was rinsed?? I was rinsing for 30 minutes! Your shampoo and conditioners were absolutely no help - shampoo did not even lather. I used my own after and also needed to brush and comb chunks of waxy feeling dye out of my hair. Still, it does not feel restored. After reading other reviews, I see that other customers also had this same issue. You should consider researching the color combos of everyone and see if there is a correlation.
