Waxy hair dyeI like the color, the price, and the convenience of esalon. However, I had to cancel my subscription because I can’t stand the waxy/sticky/gummy formulation. I have followed the instructions on the package and used a clarifying shampoo but this product is way too difficult to wash out. My hair feels waxy for days and I have to scrape the build up of dye from my scalp. I’m going to try Madison Reed and hope for a better formulation. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. HORRIBLE!After my initial (Demi-permanent, to cover highlights) color was WAY too dark and red, I was given a complimentary permanent color to "fix" it. (I had to write several emails and make a phone call to get the "corrected" color to be free of charge, as per the company's guarantee.) Now, my hair is even darker and redder than it was (nearly black). I now have to make an appointment at a salon to have it fixed, which will be both costly and damaging to my hair. Never again. UPDATE- I am going to have to spend $150-$175 at the salon to get this junk out of my hair, as it is nearly BLACK and my own hair is medium ash brown. Great color, but my hair feels greasyGreat color, but my hair feels really greasy and sticky. I did everything right by the directions. My hair looks like I used five tubes of V05. Dark BlondeI just used this last order 3 days ago. I went back to my 2nd color request of dark blonde with less brassiness. It was darker than before. Also the last 3 times I have colored my hair I have broken out with an itchy rash. This was the worst it has been. Prior to this time it was just on my hairline and ears. Lesson learned!I burned my hair. It’s my own fault for not reading instructions more carefully but as a friend, I would have put in bold letters DO NOT TREAT STRANDS ALREADY TREATED! Only color your hair growth. I have suffered four months with losing several inches of burned hair. It has hurt my self-confidence. I love the color that I have gotten from e-salon but my last shipment of color I did not allow to stay on long enough because I am nervous to burn my hair again. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. awful bottleThis is the first time I got bonus bottles. But the 1st bottle 1 for the root was so difficult to open . I spend half hour to open it. Put it in the hot water was not working at all. I need to used a small knife to broke the lid. It was awful. The old style of bottle never has this problem. Pleas fix it. I was glad it wasn’t the bottle 2 I cannot open it.
