Please DO NOT send me anymore hair colorsI didn't care for this product at all. Tried twice and each time color turned my hair orange. Not only that, but I explained to the person mixing colour for me that my hair pulls oranges, yet they still give me colors that turn my hair orange. SorryThe color came quickly but it wasn't quite right for me, though this is not esalon's fault. In general, I felt the product was a little difficult to use, what with first applying to the roots area, then the rest of the hair. The worst part was pouring the remaining product mixed with water over my head in the shower. I promptly got it in my eyes and had to rinse them thoroughly--my fault. Gummy and sticky hairI'm honestly mad at myself how long I used this for. The first time in 5 years I was unhappy with my color they ignored my complaint and I did not get a refund or replacement. I picked up some Garnier to attempt to fix my roots and was amazed my scalp did not sting and my hair didn't require rinsing for 20 minutes...and then over and over to get the gumminess out. RESIDUEAlthough the colour was a great match, I have washed my hair twice and have been left with dark residue all over my scalp. I am not very happy about this. I am not sure on the ingreedients of the colour mix, but it is very strong and smells like ammonia!! My normal hair colour does not contain this so I will continue to use that instead. Still not quite rightI still can’t decide if the copper tones I continue to get with this color are a result of how I am applying it, or the coloring that I received. Or maybe it’s just my hair. Whatever the case, I still can’t seem to get the results I’m looking for, which is no copper tones and more Ash tones. I really like the convenience of esalon, but I’m thinking of going back to drugstore box color or spending a bunch of money at a salon to get the color I want. Read the fine printIf I could put 0 stars I would it is definitely in the fine print that they will charge you monthly or very three months they do not let you cancel your order until it gets shipped to you and you then have to return it and wait ten days for a refund this is the most frustrating customer service I have ever had to deal with. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
