UnsureI just got my hair color Box I think 2 weeks ago I just colored my hair about a week ago cause I like to wait awhile in between colorings the die was very runny the color was a little more purple than I wanted it it seems to have a purple tint to it I wanted a natural red color without any blonde in it. Not happyThe color was better than expected, however, the product not so good, it was like a styling goop mixed with petroleum jelly and crazy glue for laughs. It took me 2+ hours and dawn dish detergent to wash it out. I'm sorry, but I will never order this product again, the color was not worth the hassle. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Turned to weird thick gooI tried esalon for the first time. The smell was really, really strong. Other than that, things seemed to go okay. I mixed in a plastic bowl, applied with my brush, and waited my 30 minutes. When I tried to rinse it out, I thought it was working. Then, I took the gloves off and could feel that the back of my hair felt really weird. The dye had stuck to my scalp and formed a weird goo. I had to take my fingernails and rake it off. I had to take the shampoo and scrub my head and wash my hair twice to get it out. My hair then felt very stiff, but after I put the conditioner in, it smoothed out. Great color - needs more than 30 minutesMy first trial turned out ok. The color was an ok match but a bit too red/warm. Also, it is critical if you are very gray to keep color on more like 45 mins instead of 30. They sent me a second color free bc mine was red and did not penetrate enough.
