Oozing colorWhile I was applying the color to my hair the bottle got really warm and started oozing out of the bottle on its own. When I rinsed The color as directed the color did not take to my hair. Called customer service on 11/20/2024 and was kept on hold for 10 mins and then was told their offices were currently closed. Opened chat and explained the situation and was told a confirmation for a free replacement had been emailed, however, the confirmation email only stated that my 'question' would be forwarded to the colorist. I don't have a question. I would like the defective product that I paid for to be replaced. My chat specialist then told me to contact the customer service number that had told me their offices were closed. I explained that I had already gone that route and their offices stated that they were currently closed. This is a simple fix. Be honest. Don't patronize your clients. How could esalon get it so badly wrong?Wanted medium golden brown and sent pictures of my current hair to ensure that the colour would be accurate. I was really excited to try this. I've used box colours successfully many times so I felt confident enough to colour at home. I followed the instructions step by step but the outcome was a very light golden brown. Customer service offered me a call with a colourist but I declined, I wasn't going to risk paying for another box when this one was so wrong despite sending pictures. I've bought root spray to cover until I can get this sorted.
