Truly Salon Quality ColorI was pretty skeptical, but I figured I could get in to the salon for a quick fix if necessary. I was very impressed!! The color specialist really did a great job taking my information, and the pictures I provided and mixing me the exact color I wanted. (I have no idea what color my natural hair color is at this point, but I'm sure it's nothing this gorgeous!). The only con I have is the smell during the coloring process is more harsh than at the salon, but the money I save and the color I come away with are totally worth it. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Beautiful shiny healthy hair.I loved my esalon haircolor and also the shine is unbelievable. My hair did not look colored it looked totally natural. Downhill From HereAfter giving Esalon the opportunity to help me save money I find my hair dulling out very quickly. I use permanent color. Typically my hair feels stronger, silky and has awesome body when freshly colored. I have not had that experience. My hair has no body, dulls quickly and feeds like straw when freshly colored. Upon reviewing your Personalized Instructions, we would like to remind you to perform the Rinse Through Your Ends step, in which you massage leftover color into your hair until it feels creamy, then add water to rinse. This adds shine and hydration to your hair, and missing this step for your application can cause your hair to feel like straw. We hope this information is helpful! |
Hair colorI used esalon for several years, but stopped using it about two years ago, for lazyness. At the hair salon, hairdressers never wanted to put my natural color and always insisted on putting highlights on my hair. Lately I was paying almost $200.00 to have my hair frizzy 30 minutes after leaving the salon, my hair would be brassy after the first wash. I decided to come back to esalon and get back my dark color ! Mindy advised me by email and by phone in order to get what I wanted. Young People Can Love It TooAfter my first order, I realized this was meant for people with gray hair and got embarrassed that I was using this for my own hair. I'm in my early 20s and I just love the color. It took me a while to find the right shade for me. The first was just too coppery. (Mind you, I am dealing with the color red here which is very hard to replicate a REAL ginger color.) The second time was the same color as before because I was too afraid to change it much. The third time was when I decided to change it to a lighter color. It was cool. That was the perfect one for me and then I got brave and decided to change it yet another time to just play with the red color family and this time I am LOVING it. I deciced to go strawberry blonde. It's such a lovely color for me especially since I'm naturally blonde with a slight tint of strawberry anyway. This just makes the natural red in my hair pop out more. I hope this review is helpful for other people who like to use red hair dye. The only color I didn't like was the copper color for the first round. It was a nice color, but it didn't look natural enough for me. My family members don't have that color and maybe other people's families do, but not mine. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
