Still have greys.....The kit and process was easy to understand and use. I am 38 with a few grey hairs throughout and the color did not cover the few that I have, it also did not cover evenly from the top to bottom of my hair. Not the color I was shownI had picked the color I wanted a dark auburn with copper highlights. It come out a dark to medium brown with some red highlights....not at all the color I was going for and might have been better off with a boxed product. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Not even closeI have dark brown hair with highlights and want an all over color. I went med golden brown and it made my hair even darker but also red. Not happy with the results at all.I feel like I would have had better luck with store bought. Color made no change to my hairI specifically asked for a color that would make my hair lighter by a shade or two, but this color did nothing. Never been more disappointed.I never write reviews even for a bad experience in the past. I have a previous salon balayage done and wanted to darken by brass blonde while salons are currently closed. I answered the questionnaire and chose a dark brown mahogany option that would work on my current color. I wanted something with less maintenance, get rid of my brass, but still have a pop of color. After uploading a picture of my hair, Esalon instead chose the medium brown mahogany for me instead of dark brown. I called them regarding this as I immediately noticed that this color will still show brass and was lighter than what I was looking for. I was ensured that my color will come out darker and the formula suggested will not make my hair brassier. I decided to proceed, understanding that this formula will be made specifically to tailor my hair color needs. Today I dyed it and it made my hair even more brassier and an ugly copper color. My hair feels fried and extremely dry now when it never even did from bleaching it for my previous balayage. My salon hair looks like an at home nightmare. Before I started doing my hair at salons, I dyed my hair at home for almost 15 years. Now my hair will show in family pics tomorrow for my son’s first birthday party. I’ve never been so disappointed. DamagedThe contents arrived damaged. The bottles did not seal & the contents leaked. I still used the product because I was desperate to get my hair done.
