Color changeI was previously a light brown pearl copper gal. I kept feeling like there was something we could tweak to get it a tad more natural looking. I tried the medium brown ash copper. Color Formula PerfectionThe questionnaire was a great starting place, but what really helped my stylist was the pictures I posted of my hair before coloring. She contacted me and double checked to make sure I wanted such a dark color. After talking it over with the stylist over the phone, we agreed upon a slightly lighter shade to start and I am so grateful! The color I chose would have been way too dark! My color now is perfect! My hair is soft and shiny after coloring and the color does not fade hardly at all after 6 weeks. I have a lot of grey and this covers it all! Not so great....After using this hair dye, my hair was very coarse and felt very dry. As I was getting the conditioner out that they had sent along with the hair dye, it felt as if my hair was very rough. I also lost a lot of hair in the shower which I do usually lose a little bit of hair when I wash my hair but not that much. I do not know if the hair loss was due to the product but I'm just adding it for other people's knowledge. Also, when I use a box hair dye from the store I am able to use it in my bathroom mirror with the vent on. It does stink but when I used this product from eSalon, I had to actually leave the bathroom because the smell was so strong and overpowering. I do like the color and it was effective and coloring grey hairs. But I will not reorder.
