It frys your hairMy hair was a tangled mess after using this product the first time and then my ends were fried. I did not realize the company would just keep sending me more of the dye. I did not want it. The second time I tried it, it covered all my gray (which is a tiny amount) and I used KLORANE conditioner for color treated hair. Much better results that lasted until the fine hairs on the side of my hairline grew out. So I ordered it again. This time it didn't cover any of my gray. I did everything exactly as the instructions said to do. I used the eSalon shampoo and conditioner, I timed how long I left the dye on. I am never ordering from this joke of a company again. Considering I paid $25 for the dye kit and another at least $5 for shipping-- I could have gone to my stylist for about $10 more and had her cover my gray. Wow! Impressive!First of all, customer service: Prompt responses and excellent follow-up procedures. Every one has been kind, friendly and very accommodating. The product: Really excellent instructions are provided; it was so easy to apply, it smells great and leaves my hair shiny and natural looking, not dry and dull or feeling brittle. Raves of red copperAs I've passed the 70th birthday, grey was OK for awhile, as the strands were admired by many; Nevertheless, a woman always wants a change. Now, folks say appearance is more youthful. My 85 year old spouse followed the directions to assist in overall mastery of application! The product was generous, coverage very good over grey, and the odor was tolerable in confined bathroom quarters. The conditioner was of a delightful fragrance, not detectable by bedtime to follow the procedure! I'll be certain to preach the good news of this product, as well. Beautiful color, and perfect for my budget.I used to color my hair at home with store bought color and inevitably I would need to go to the salon to fix color that was darker than I wanted and somehow my hair would always end up with an artificial purple tone to it that I just couldn’t get to go away (it looks great on some people but doesn’t look quite right on me)- I get washed out easily). Enter eSalon- my color is dark brown with copper and mahogany and it’s exactly the the natural looking color that I wanted with warm tones that flatter my skin tone.
