A happy ending to my hair saga!It's a long story: basically, I came back to using eSalon after a long hiatus. Last year, I used eSalon after being dye free for YEARS! I was strawberry blonde as a kid, it faded to dark blonde, and I've been trying to color it copper off and on ever since. I loved my results, but was disappointed with how fast it faded. I decided to venture out and find other colors by other companies. Some produced nice color, but we're too harsh on my scalp! When I tried gentler, ammonia-free formulas, the inconsistent color forced me to wear beanies until it faded! I have finally come back to what I knew worked so well for me. I adjusted my color to make for an even more vibrant, rich red than I had before. My hair looks beautiful! It also evened out the previous coloring mishaps still showing on my head! Also, I don't know if the formula has changed since the last time I used it, but it has much better staying power than before as well! DissatisfiedI used the first order yesterday, 10/20/18, and was dissatisfied with the product and the whole process. The ammonia in the hair color was so overwhelming that it made my eyes tear; the process was too many steps to do at home by myself. The rinse part of the process made such a mess in the shower that it took another 1/2 hour to clean. Very happy with thisSooo pleased with this service. Couldn't be happier with quality and results. I've only ever used box dye for my hair and the grey coverage and lack of fading with this color has been impressive in comparison. The process from getting the box and using the color and then the results is all around good. I also like how I can adjust the color for my next order. Color is more runny than box dye so definitely use the skin protector but the wipe works well at removing the color as well if it does get on your skin. Love my new colorI have dark brown hair and decided I wanted to cover my summer light brown. I got mahogany brown. Absolutely love the color. I have colored my hair many times and while this was more steps then the box colors at the stores, so worth it.
