Great color self highlighting is impossible!I love the color, the customization and the way my hair feels after I’ve colored it. But my highlights were a disaster and I had to go to my stylist to recolor my hair after it turned my hair a bright orange! She said that even she was unable to highlight her own hair. You really need a specialist because without using foil it’s very difficult to limit the spread of the highlights. Also it’s impossible to see the back of your head. The highlighter also turned my hair a bright orange (with dark brown hair) even though I didn’t leave it quite as long g as recommended. Not covering my graysUsually, I don’t give low reviews, but after following the directions very very carefully and even keeping the hair dye in my hair for a bit longer for those stubborn grays, I came out of the shower and noticed that my grays are still very visible. This is the second, actually maybe third, time I’ve been using the dye and the last time I thought maybe I’m not doing something correctly. Just okay.Works great for a week or less. Everytime I color, I love it but it just doesn't last. I generally only need to do my roots. I'm sure it probably works great for others but I've actually found supermarket touch-ups and semi-permanent colors to be longer lasting and significantly cheaper. The color looks just as good, my hair feels great and lasts for at least 3 to 4 weeks (my hair grows fast). I've been using eSalon for a few years but it only takes two washes and the grays of my roots are significantly lighter than the rest of my hair. Great productLove the product because it meets all the requirement of not being tested on animals and is vegan. Unfortunately, with the tariff wars between U.S. and Canada I can no longer buy U.S. made goods.
