The red I have always wantedI have been dying my hair red for years but I was never able to get the true red I was looking for. I decided to give Esalon a try and I’m so glad that I did. I was expecting to get the same results I’ve always gotten but to my surprise when I removed the towel from my head and let my hair dry I was shocked by what I saw. It was the most beautiful, vibrant, and shiny red I have ever seen and not only did I love the outcome but my hair was softer than it has ever been. So very happyLove the color, more so than when I had my stylist color my hair. Waited a week to color my hair as I was a little worried. As it turned out I didn't color the roots very well. My husband did a better job on the back of my head. Still very happy with the overall results. Natural looking colour, love itThe colour has come out really nice and unlike the last home dye I used which was supposedly dark brown and came out like a goth, it matches exactly what I wanted, suits my skin tone, I can tell it was made for me, and my husband says looks a nice natural colour. Pleased all round! The only reason I am giving it a 4 not a 5 is that I can still see a few greys but maybe that was down to me rather than the dye. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Really good!So I am a bit of a diva when it comes to my hair and because of covid I needed for the first time to do it myself. It was really easy and the instructions were good. I didn't use their shampoo/conditioner because I have really sensitive skin to soaps but the condition of my hair after was so much better than usual so I think there must be something really conditioning in the colour. I went from blonde to red and the colour turned out pretty close to how I was expecting it to look. The only thing is that the ends are a lot lighter than the roots so the colour may not have been matched perfectly. I'll fix it but I'm just happy it looks ok and didn't ruin my hair. A Perfectly Matched Root Colour + Perfect Instructions!I had never dyed my hair by myself. So, during the Covid-19 pandemic, after 3 months of unattended grown roots, I finally had to give in and try to do it myself! So, I ordered various hair colours from different brands, but never got to using them as they didn't look right. Meantime, while searching on Youtube for instructional videos of how to colour one's own hair, I saw a video where the lady in it said that she was using eSalon products and described how they went about creating a colour that would match your hair colour. So, I answered a few simple questions on eSalon and sent them a Selfie asking for a colour for my roots. They very quickly created one and sent it to me. I must say that I was at first quite skeptical as to whether it would indeed match my hair colour. But to my great surprise it did so perfectly! Also, their instructions were super clear and easy to follow - that was just great!
