Not satisfied with the "gray coverage"I followed all of the directions, step by step, but it did not cover the gray completely. About a few days later, I was back to square one. Not for meI wasn't crazy about my color. It was just blah and too dark. For the extra money, I thought it would be just amazing. I wanted a shade lighter and was told they couldn't do that but would send me more of the same. I had to email them several times explaining what I wanted. They finally came up with an idea and sent me another product. This time the color was too red. The colorist just doesn't seem to understand what I want. Unhappy with outcomeI am beginning to think that the color I am looking for, copper red, can only achieved by going to a salon. I did try the competitor first, only because I had not heard of eSalon. There was nothing coppery about the resultant color. It was auburn, and much too dark. My hair is lighter red after using the eSalon color, but still not what I am looking for. The kits from both companies are impressive. just wow!I was skeptical about purchasing a color online ...but with the introductory price of 12 $ and lots of good reviews I decided to give it a try. I was extremely happy...all the tools were provided to complete the color and it was fun picking a color from the huge range of choices. My color choice covered my gray perfectly and left my hair so soft and shiny, and it lasted a long time ! Love the coverage and color!I have been coloring my own hair for almost a year using a drugstore color. The drugstore color was pretty but never lasted long even though it was called a permanent color. Immediately after coloring it would look like it was fading after one wash and I always use a sulfate free color friendly shampoo. I colored my hair yesterday and Immediately after using my eSalon color I knew this was a great product. The color is so rich, has depth to it and matched perfectly. I put in my information with pictures and included the the type/number of the drugstore color I was using hoping to receive something similar and they hit the nail on the head.
