Color is perfect match and was easy to applyIt took me a while to pick out the color as I wanted to ensure a perfect match to my red/brown color. The pictures seem quite accurate as the one I chose is a perfect match. I also uploaded a photo of my color after my most recent salon visit. I only had to color my roots to cover the grey and it was pretty easy with the instructions, even completely by myself. I'd suggest if possible having an extra mirror to be able to see the back of your head if you don't have a friend to help. Plus, the kit is incredible with everything you need and I even loved the shampoo and conditioner. However, I would suggest shampooing your hair twice with dark colors as I was worried about it on my scalp and hairline. Enough for ALL my hair!When I dye my hair I usually need 3 store-bought boxes to have enough to get all of my waist length hair. They sent me 2 bottles and it was more than enough. The results were amazing! It's so soft and shiny and it almost glitters in the sun. Their conditioner even stopped my waves from frizzing afterward which I've never had outside of a salon color session. One less thing to stress about in quarantine!This was soooo easy. I had only had my hair professionally colored before (for more than 30 years) and my stylist recommended eSalon when it became clear that she would not reopen in the foreseeable future. I talked to the colorist twice, completely reassuring, knowledgeable and professional. They got the absolute right color, my daughter could easily apply it and it looked fantastic. I no longer am reminded about the holding pattern we are all in every time I look in a mirror. I know it is self-absorbed, but I feel so much better and my mood has really improved.
