After some tweaksAfter my initial experience, I sent a photo and had a follow-up conversation with a color specialist from eSalon, explaining that the color was too dark and flat. It appeared to be my darkest tone, but covering my whole head. I explained that I wanted it brighter and with more shades of blonde, copper, and auburn. She changed my formula and instructed me to use the lightening kit to add dimension. Good colorLike the fact that you can get a darker color to cover roots and a lighter color to refresh the rest of your hair. Makes for a better color match. Do think it is a bit pricey for root color and shipping at almost $30. If you also get the refresher color there is an additional charge.
