Not the color I was expectingThe quality of the dye is fantastic and very easy to apply. I provided two photos, one of my current color and the other what my desired color was. I ended up getting the color that was close to what I currently had. So, meanwhile it's nice to no longer have darker looking roots, I had hoped to get a color that I actually wanted. I messaged my colonist for an adjustment for my next order. I'm hoping I get the right color this time!! I also was sent by accident a roots touch up then messaged my colorist and she sent me the all over color pack. UnsureFollowed all of the directions, did roots first & let sit for recommended period of time before doing the ends. I was going for medium ash brown but my roots that were gray, turned out much lighter & warmer than the rest of my hair. just okThe customer service is very good. My color was too light and they put me on with a colorist and she reviewed my issues and sent out another package right away. The color was perfect! great contents, but color didn't matchI love the contents, how it was packaged with clear instructions and personalized. I didn't expect the color to match my current color, but I was hoping it would be close. I sent a current photo and selected a color, but it turned out very bright red. The colour is great!The colour was great and the instructions were simple- I used the light set as well and really liked that too! I have very thick long hair and my only issue was there wasn’t enough mixture to cover my hair adequately. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

I like the concept, but need to tweak the colorI really enjoyed receiving the entire kit, packaging and product seem really nice. I usually color at home so this is more expensive than my regular haircolor I pick up at the drugstore, but since I use one that is hard to find in stores here in Austria, I thought I would give this a try. I always love my color!I love eSalon! The color is long lasting, covers gray easily and doesn't wear off. My hair has never been damaged and (until now) had any adverse effects. Color changes that I have made have always been spot-on! The reason that I have only given three stars is because my last color, which was just about a week ago, did not turn out very well. I made changes to my color, but the changes were not dramatic -just added a cinnamon tone to my brown. I got an ends refresher along with my new color. I followed all of the instructions 100%. I've done this before so the process is familiar. Unfortunately, my ends are much darker than my roots. It is quite noticeable. And, to make matters worse, I have naturally curly hair and always put some kind of moisturizer on my ends which darkens my hair just little. It looks terrible. I have a lighter cinnamon colored roots and deep mahogany colored ends with no red at all. I've been hoping that my ends would release a little bit of the color. I don't normally wash my hair everyday but this week, I have been shampooing the ends daily to try to get them to lighten up a little. I'm going to try one more time today but I'm not feeling very hopeful. I'm going to have to get my hair fixed this weekend. I don't know what went wrong. My color always looks great and I'm really dreading spending two to three hours and hundreds of dollars to get this fixed. 1 of 2 people found this review helpful. Did you? |
