So easyI have used box colors for do long that my daughter took me to have my hair done professionally for a gift. I have tried to keep that up for a year, however when the virus came we were quaranteened for so long that I decided to try e-salon. I absolutely love it!!! Fantastic easy to useeSalon has made it very easy to do one's own hair coloring correctly.I loved the initial color, but am glad I have the option of going "slightly" darker. Personnel have been so responsive to my questions and were very helpful to secure that one gets the best hair color for one's self. I appreciate the patience and expertise of eSalon. Amazing Results!I first chose Esalon because I read good reviews and was curious, but was not sure how my ideal shade of ash blonde would turn out — I had previously tried at home box dyes that faded to a yellow-like dullness within 1 or 2 washes. Let me just say that the results are spot on! And after 4 or 5 weeks now I’m still happy with my color (and expect that I could squeeze in another week before dyeing again). However, my advice is once you’ve found your ideal shade (which could take a few tries) follow the directions exactly to every word — they are specific for a reason! E-Salon keeps getting better!!I sent a message to my colorist asking if there were any changes that could be made in my then-usual color to more effectively cover the peeking gray. Like a magician she created a new color for those naughty peeking grays and it is AMAZING!! I love the results! The new shade blends with the prior color beautifully. Great service and great colorI covered up blonde highlights and I have dark hair. I received an email from the colorist suggesting a primer to ensure the color "took". She warned me it might be red or purple but not to freak out because that was just step 1. Step 2 was the actual color. My hair turned out wonderful, great color and it hasn't been this soft in ages.
