Great color, but damaged my hairI used esalon for the first time last month and was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was. The color arrived at my door with thorough instructions and everything but the gloves! I had a friend help apply the color and loved it. I darkened my hair from a mousey brown to a deep brown with violet undertones, and the color looks great. However, while marked Demi-permanent, I believe it was permanent color. My hair is so damaged from this product, and when I went to my hair dresser to liven it up again, she said a Demi-permanent would have begun to fade already, while my color is still very pigmented. Couldn't get all the color outThe actual color turned out great but I had to wash my hair 6 times to get all the gel color out. I followed the instructions exactly and it stayed in my hair and made it feel sticky. I will not be purchasing this esalon color again. Quality going down hillThe first couple times I ordered things were great. The last two orders were terrible, color faded VERY QUICKLY. I specifically stated I did not want a brassy look and that is EXACTLY what I got. Its unfortunate because I really thought I found a product that worked great for me.
