I liked my previous color better :(I waited to try this color until 2 days ago, because I have been busy, but also because I was a little nervous! It is darker, but it also has a reddish tint to it. I have had a couple of people refer to me as a "redhead," which I do not like. I do not like this color very much, and would much rather have my previous color to re-color my hair. Probably as soon as possible. I REALLY don't like red in my hair. :( I am fairly certain I have mentioned this before, and asked for no red please! Thank you. Has the formula changed?I have been using eSalon for over a year and have been happy, however this time the colour left me feeling I had poured crude oil on my hair. Starts out strong then fizzles...I love the eSalon service/customer service but I am just not thrilled with the color. Every time I color it starts out looking beautiful but fades fast and turns into a color that looks unnatural and chalky. It may be that the color I have is red, which is hard to maintain. Regardless of the reason, I just don't like having color that I don't love all the time. Seems to dry it out and fade too fastMy ends have felt drier since using this product, and I notice the overall color fades too fast...even though I only wash every 3 days and use color safe products. Started off Great...The day I colored my hair it was perfect! A great red, just like I asked for! 2 days later when I washed it all my great red was gone. It looks like I used a color spray then washed it out. I'm now back to the dull reddish brown I was before I colored. THE SMELL WAS HORRIBLE I COULDN'T EVEN USE ITI was excited to find a new way to color instead of using a salon but was so disappointed when I tried using this color.
