Seemed great on day one; but I saw greys popping up all over after a couple daysSeemed great for a couple of days; but I saw plenty of greys popping up all over after a couple days, looking as if I missed a bunch of hair, which I know I didn't because you couldn't see them when I first did the color. The scent of doing it myself was a bit overwhelming (an ammonia like smell that burns my nostrils). Your Hair Color Plan is currently turned off as well. We always suggest applying your hair color in a well ventilated room to help with any overwhelming smell you may experience. While ammonia has a strong smell, eSalon and other experts believe it is a safer and more effective choice than the substitutes some other hair color companies use, such as Ethanolamine. 4th formula and still not covering stubborn graysWhen I started coloring my hair, my grays were short but very noticeable. After 6 months they have grown so long and the color bottle for my "roots" still isn't covering my grays even though I'm running it down the whole strand.
