Not vibrant at all! Fades very fast!I tried the esalon hair color. I thought the quiz to determine your color was way off on a lot of things. This will affect your end results. I tried the first color they sent. It faded out fast!! Much faster than drug store color. I gave a review on the color and stated that. They said they would alter the color for the next month. Per the information in your Personalized Instructions, we would like to confirm that we adjusted your color to a darker version of the original for longer lasting results, but the name on the color label was the same because the adjustment was in the same color family. We also cancelled any future orders upon your request at the time. We recommend that you try the free color we made for you, which has a shelf life of one year, and would gladly make further adjustments if you were looking for a different color. |
Not convinced color quality&healthiness, NOT shiny & nice smelling afteri did not see any evidence that the color was custom-made for me or a any healthier version of the store-bought colors (as their ad claims (stop buying generic colors...)). That was what I was looking for when I bought this color. My hair did not shine after coloring, which is very important for me. The conditioner did not smell nice. The color itself smelled terrible. I liked the skin protection cream before coloring. The after-color skin cleaner did not work well. Also, there was not enough hair conditioner provided to use until the next coloring (at least 4 weeks like L'Oreal does) - it was just one-time use. Our Demi-Permanent dyes are ammonia free while our Permanent dyes contain ammonium hydroxide, a solution of ammonia in water. While ammonia has a strong smell, eSalon and other experts believe it is a safer and more effective choice than the substitutes some other hair color companies use, such as Ethanolamine.
