Custom Hair ColorI was not at all happy with my hair after dying it. I had NEVER dyed it in my 46 years of life. It dried out my hair really bad and made it feel like a wig texture! I was not impressed with the color either. I had to cut 5 inches off my long hair. I will not even use the 2nd bottle. Not happy!Tried this color and was not pleased. The smell of ammonia is overwhelming and it was almost impossible to get all of the color rinsed out. The shampoo with the kit did not work and it has taken two more shampoos to get it mostly out. I don't feel I got good coverage on my very stubborn gray either. Hair color formula changeI have been using the same color for a while and thought for the summer I would change my color just a bit to a lighter tone; however when I tried the new formula it didn't seem any different and my hair actually looked darker than what I wanted. NopeI didn't like anything about this service. That's not entirely true, in the end, my hair was very shiny and manageable. However, the customer service was not great, they charged my credit card and did not ship my color for almost two weeks. They did e-mail me questions, which was fine, but when you answer a question, you get an automated response to continue your answer. They did not ship my product until I complained. Once I received the product, I was very excited, but that did not last long. The ammonia in this is so strong. It burned my eyes, nose, and throat. It also burned my scalp, much more than any product I have ever used. I purposefully waited till I had not washed my hair for 3-4 days before applying, just to prevent this, however that did not help. Also, you should have a friend help you. applying one product to your roots, and a different product to your mid-length to ends, is a much more labor intensive and awkward experience than you would expect it to be. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
