StainingThe color is flat and the staining on my scalp is unacceptable. I have been coloring my hair at home for years and have never experienced anything like this. No gray coveredThis product did not cover the gray roots in my hair virtually at all. The kit itself itself is terrific idea but if it does not cover gray at all then it isn't worth much. Even if it did a great job of covering the gray with a tone that is similar to my hair color, I am not certain that it is affordable to most at $20 plus $5 shipping. Still need work on the stubborn grayThe 2nd time around the color was customized and it did justiced. However the 3rd one still the same as the very first one did not cover the gray well. I still see my gray. I did follow instructions as it indicated in the booklet. Please adjust appropriately like the second one. I was happy with that. 1st and only coloringI am happy with how the dark brown turned out, however I'm not happy with the product itself. I have never used a hair dye that burned my scalp and stained my skin so badly. I don't believe I will be ordering again unless I have someone to help me to deal with the drips and scalp stains. I'm disappointed because the color is exactly what I wanted, but it took 3 days and plenty of scrubbing to get the stains off, and yes I used the supplied stain protector and remover wipe. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did not cover grayI do not have tons of gray. Just enough that it becomes noticeable. Color received was very dark, almost black. Gray hair turned light brown. Disappointing.
