My hair takes dye really well!I like the color a lot... after about two weeks. My hair takes dye really well, so it ends up darker than suggested. Tried so many formulasI have been trying for almost 2 years to get the perfect formula, with grey coverage. My coverage is not even a a lot of grey. I was even recommended to try grey magic with this color and that didn't help. I use sulfate free shampoo for color and still withing a week the color is not sticking to the greys. Med Brown GoldIt is darker than I expected for Med Brown and it wasn't really golden in home light, more auburn. It does look better outside, and my husband says it's fine, but it seems too dark to me. If I order again I'd go at least one shade lighter, this color doesn't have a lot of life to it when I look at it in the mirror. Outside I see some glow. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Used exactly as directed, didn't work.I used the product exactly as directed, taking my time to read the directions thoroughly, mixing the color correctly, separating my hair as indicated, etc. etc. I applied color and set my timer after I was done as per the instructions. Rinsed the color out using the provided shampoo and...damn! It simply didn't color my roots. All that prep and time, for no change! I've never had trouble with home hair color not working before -- even temporary color. Not sure if this product wasn't designed to cover greys at all? Color made my head itch.I have used this color for two years. My color was updated several times. For the last 3 times I used it, my scalp would itch and feel raw for at least a week.
