Not the color I wanted, but delighted by the serviceMy hair is not the shade I wanted, but the dye job doesn't look unintentional. It looks good, it just isn't what I wanted. That's worth taking off one star, but I wouldn't give it under 3 stars if you paid me. Scented skin protectant and TWO (2) PAIRS OF GLOVES, alone with a stain remover wipe (which I always forget to buy). And although I had doubts about the shampoo/conditioner because of how thin the formula is, I got compliments about how soft my hair was from my boyfriend that night! Loved color- poor grey coverageI loved the color! Was even thinking about adding a bit more aurburn to color next time. But I am so disappointed by grey coverage. No change in colorThe color chosen for me did not take, after 2 different attempts to change the requested color to a different shade before it was due again, it was never changed, so I put my plan on hold and now trying to get the subscription cancelled all together. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Too darkI like the color but it is much darker than I was hoping it would be. I suppose when I said dark auburn, I wasn’t sure how dark that would actually be. My hair is almost black now though, no hint of red in it at all. BrassinessColor is brassy/copper. Trying to correct this. 3rd try now. Still working on it. Though I have been disappointed with the brassiness the color does seem to be nice quality. Doesn’t dry my hair out and has a nice shine. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Sticky ickyOnce again, my hair coloring process turned my hair into a goopy, tarry mess. I followed all the directions including massaging my hair for 5 minutes in the shower (the directions recommended 1-2) to loosen the color and 4 shampoos and 20 minutes later I finally freed my hair of a goopy, greasy residue that the color left behind. I am convinced that it is the multiple shampoos that has left me with grays showing at only 3 weeks out from coloring and super dry hair. This is probably my 4th or 5th order. The last order was the first time it got goopy. When I contacted my colorist she said I needed to make sure and massage my scalp before shampooing. It took WAY more than a massage to fully clean my hair. I seriously considered using dish soap but was worried it would be too much for my hair after the coloring and multiple shampoos. As much as I used to like the color that esalon products provide and the convenience of coloring at home, I won’t be using them anymore (sad face). 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |
