What a disasterI wanted to go from medium/dark brown with grey at the roots and mid-lengths, with lighter previously coloured ends to a bright copper all over. I did hairdressing in my youth, so I know that previously coloured hair absorbs colour/brightens easier than natural roots. They custom made me two colours, one for roots and mid-lengths, one for previously coloured ends. The bottle for the roots and mid-lengths was a brown base with copper and gold top notes and the bottle for the ends was copper based with gold top notes. Also I have thick, waist length, wavy hair and only received 1 tiny sachet of conditioner. I really needed about 5 or 6. So I ended up using a lot of my own deep conditioning treatment to complete. Whatever my previous experience, I decided that I should follow the instructions given as maybe the "experts" knew something that I didn't about their own colours. I followed the instructions completely and even had an "assistant" to help me with the back and tricky bits. I have ended up with brown (yeurch) roots and mid-lengths, but beautiful dark red/coppery (brilliant) ends. I adore the colour at the ends. But I didn't want brown hair with lighter brighter ends. I had that before with different colours already. I sent an email via the contact form over 24 hours ago. I haven't had a reply yet, although I did get the standard "we have received". I give one star for the presentation and ends, but sadly I can't give any for anything else. As you can imagine I am a very unhappy customer. I thought I would have received a priority response under these circumstances, but sadly I'm still waiting. Needless to say I have cancelled any repeat orders until I receive a satisfactory response and a way to sort it out. I know I can't put a new colour on immediately, but after a few washes I should be able to. I just hope they can give me a good result, so far I'm not convinced... Results were too brassy for ash blondeI wanted a color that wouldn't be brassy, and would blend my ash brown with the silver. The color of my hair now is exactly the same as the clear color in the bottle before I mixed it with the developer, the color of honey. I like my silver and didn't want it to change, but it is strawberry blond now. Hopefully, the colorist will get it right the next time. Warm hair color is not for me.
