Extraordinarily displeased with the colorsMy hair is usually colored to an Auburn that is red in the sun and light reddish brown in any other light. The root dye I was sent is about 70% medium brown and 30% red/mahogany. The ends color was 100%mixed mahogany/red. My natural color is a dark Ash blonde/super light Ash brown. As a result my hair looks like I have several inches of root showing and red ends. And not the ombre kind. I will be going to get my old color tomorrow and redying in a few days. My roots were the part needing red and the ends needed evening to the reddish brown. I even considered doing the logical way but hoped the stylists knew what they were doing. Extremely dissatisfied. grey hairwell like every other item to colour my hair the grey hair along the side temple even though I kept the colour on for 40 mins like asked didn't work...the grey are back and not sure if I will reorder. I still have grays!!Went in yesterday to the Hollywood eSalon. Angelynn was friendly and applied Light Brown custom color to my roots + emulsion to the rest. The setting time was 30 minutes. After I was washed and blow dried I noticed one hair that seemed like it was still gray. Since Angelynn had to leave before my appointment was complete, the other girl working there finished me up and said that maybe the setting time should have been longer. Okay its only one gray hair...I figured I could live with it....until...I got out into the sunlight!! There they were shining bright and gray in the sunlight...a whole group of gray strands around the front part of my hair!!! I truly was disappointed to see so many grays were still there. My parking validation was up so I didn't have time to go back in and show the colorist. I would upload a pic of all the grays that are still in my hair if I could. Least to say, I am not 100% satisfied. Hope eSalon reads this review and tries to correct this experience because I really did want this to work out. Wrong Color; Didn't make a differenceI followed the instructions almost exactly as described but left it in like 5 minutes longer because it didn't do much for my strand test. Luckily I don't hate the result (which is just slight purply undertones, and my tiny bits of ombre left over are the same shade as the rest of my head). Worst customer serviceI have tried to adjust my color two times and both times I’ve had the worst luck of speaking to reps that are very unfriendly and I end up canceling the service. I have a friend that tried ordering for the first time and the representative was very unfriendly. He wouldn’t listen to what she wanted just like the reps that I’ve had the unpleasant experience of talking to. They’re very unfriendly and obnoxious. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
