InconsitantI follow the coloring instructions to the T and it always seems that my hair looks obviously home colored afterward. Even just applying to my roots only, you can still see a blatant transition between the fresh colored roots and was was previously colored because it seems like the roots are way too dark. i have sections of hair that look all different! 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Not good for my hairWhile the color is great, I have found the product itself to be quite damaging. My hair is so stripped feeling and bone dry after that I can't even get a pick through it w/o a lot of breakage. I've been doing my roots at home for 20 years, so I've certainly tried different brands. I'm afraid this one is just not a good product for my hair. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. In rare cases, one can develop sensitivity to hair color over time. In the future, we recommend performing a skin allergy test 48 hours before each hair color application. ridiculousI tried this system. Canceled it after the first delivery. Got a 2nd one. Called in and canceled, and was just charged for my 3rd one. Cannot remove my card information! sludgey crisco-like substance left on my scalpI've ordered a color set twice now, and this was basically strike 3 for me. Each time this happened before I blamed myself, assuming I hadn't followed directions or something. But I followed them to the letter this time and I had the same issue I've had both times I dyed my hair using the same product previously. Somehow, I've washed my hair 3x and I can still run my fingers through it and come up with white chunks of something sticky in my fingernails. I even mentioned that I had this issue before ordering the dye and the stylist acknowledged that it had been reported by other customers and because of this esalon was going to change the formula. I assumed it had already been changed, but apparently not. It's such a shame, the color is really perfect and I absolutely love the tint rinse but it's not worth dealing with the after effects of using this dye. It takes weeks to get whatever this is out of my hair and ultimately I end up fading the color trying to do so.
