Inconsistent coloringThe most recent color I got is not a change from what I normally get. The color set very inconsistently. It’s coming off inconsistently too. Messiest Dye I've Ever Tried - Color Not RightLet me start by saying I have regularly dyed my hair for over 10 years now myself, using both many different kinds of box dyes and professional dyes. Pros: 1. Hair feels healthy afterwards and not dried out 2. Customer service is responsive and helpful 3. The kit is really fun, there's a poem on the box and your name is on everything. Instructions are straightforward and easy Cons: 1. They had trouble getting the color "black" right. This was actually a big reason for me to try a new brand: "they can't possibly mess up black, right?" Initially when picking out my color, I did not get an option for blue-black, just "soft black" which we all know is just dark brown. In the comments, the company had responded to others that if their color wasn't there, to pick the closest one to it and leave comments about what you actually want so this is what I did. My first coloring left about 2-3 inches of my roots dark brown while the rest of my hair was jet black from the box dye I had previously used (I took pics and sent it to them with my feedback). I decided to give them another chance and wrote some feedback to get my formula adjusted. Second round was a little better but still not black. Third round was the same and that's when I canceled my subscription 2. This dye sort of feels normal throughout the process until I got out of the shower: there were splashes of dye ALL OVER MY BATHROOM! It had splashed out of the shower while I rinsed it literally everywhere, there was even some close to the ceiling somehow! Like I mentioned before, I have dyed my hair with many different kinds of dye and not a single one has splashed all over the place like this one did while being rinsed - be super duper careful during your process and check everything twice when you're done. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Don't Count on Receiving your Color On time...My first order was May 16. It is now June 16 and I've yet to receive my color for which I requested a 3 week reordering schedule. So now I've switched to receiving color every two weeks so perhaps I can then inventory a back order of supplies whereupon I can, in fact, apply color on a 3 week schedule... 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Good value for introductory priceKit came boxed adorably with everything needed to do the job. Colored my hair may 29 looked great but today on june 16 the grey is already coming thru again noticed it few days ago. Kit Was Nice, Color Was WrongThe presentation and packaging was awesome. Instructions were easy to follow. However, the color was completely off. I wanted to go from bleach blonde to dark blonde and instead I now have very dark brown hair... I followed the instructions exactly. If you feel you have been losing significantly more than this, you may have had an allergic reaction.
